Is this review useful?
Have you taught or lived abroad before?:
Yes
How was the recruitment process, did you run into many problems?:
It has been a lengthy process, but it has been a huge help to have been dealing with such a reliable and solid recruiting company. NES has been superb! My biggest issue has been getting a Chinese working visa.
How well did your recruiter communicate throughout the process and afterwards?:
As mentioned above, NES has been excellent. Whenever i have a question for Stephen (my contact person from NES), he always gets back to me promtly and answers my query. Even after i got offered a position at a school in China, Stephen was in regular contact with me to see how everything was going.
How was the position your recruiter placed you in?:
Unfortunately i had issues with the foreign expert bureau in China after signing a contract at a school in Shenzhen. I am now having to look at other teaching locations in Asia. Of course these problems were from the Chinese bureau and had nothing to do with NES.
What kind of support did you get from your recruiter once you'd got the job?:
Since having this unforseen problem with the foreign expert bureau in China, Stephen is once again doing his best to get me a post at another school. I am now considering teaching in Vietnam and Indonesia.
Would you recommend this employer to someone else?:
Absolutely! I have been in contact with several recruiters during the last 6 months, but NES is in a different class. They are very reliable and provide an excellent free service! I have no doubt that you will be equally impressed when you deal with NES. If you don't already have their website, here it is: www.nes-hk.com

What kind of support did you get from your recruiter once you'd got the job?:
They'd follow-up on how the interview went and offered future assistance if necessary

Have you taught or lived abroad before?:
I have taught and lived in three different countries. Australia, United Kingdom and China. I have been living in China for six years. I was living in Shenzhen but I wanted to move to Shanghai.
How was the recruitment process, did you run into many problems?:
Network Education Solutions really surprised me. From the first phone contact and with the careful suggestions of jobs to follow ups to see that things were going well. Even after my appointment in my new job, they were still there making sure I was happy with the contract and that things were going smoothly.
How well did your recruiter communicate throughout the process and afterwards?:
My recruiter Stephen was professional, friendly and so helpful. From the start I felt relaxed, confident and happy. He was always happy to answer any questions I had and the replies were always prompt and gave me the information i needed.
How was the position your recruiter placed you in?:
The new position is fantastic. I am in a job where I am challenged but not stressed. Where my skills are used to their full and I feel appreciated for the work I do. I am also very pleased with the salary I am receiving, it is above what I was expecting.
What kind of support did you get from your recruiter once you'd got the job?:
Once I was offered the job, my recruiter was there with support of making sure the salary was to my expectation and that I was happy with the contract offered. The replies I received were always prompt and clear.
Would you recommend this employer to someone else?:
I would not hesitate to recommend Network Education Solutions. I have already told many of my teaching friends about them. Do not hesitate to contact them. If your experience is similar to mine you will feel very pleased.

Good reviews are really useful and we take them seriously. We ask a lot of questions to make sure, that they provide a well-rounded picture. You can post a review anonymously but we do ask for emails (won't be shown), in case we need to get in touch to clear up spelling, unclear answers etc.

Most importantly, thanks for writing one! A well written review is often the best advice another teacher can have.
