MediaKids Academy is a Thai organization . Our goal to improve the English language skills of Thai children by creating and putting into place an ‘English taught by Native Speakers’ program for public schools across Thailand. As a placement agency, we have contracts with over seventy schools nationwide and in the last few years we've placed over one thousand foreign teachers.

MediaKids School was founded in 2000 as a computer and music school. We first started providing schools with weekend English Camps, and that began to develop into the idea of a program of English taught by native speakers. It would be made available to the more remote, less developed areas of Thailand, where tourists aren’t usually found, and recruiting of foreigners directly by the school is very difficult. In 2001, MK expanded its programs in the Northeastern provinces of Thailand, and the journey began.

Over the next three years, MK has evolved into a respected and reliable company which can meet the demands of rural Thai schools in placing experienced and quality English teachers. In 2004, as MK continued to grow strongly, new offices were opened in Bangkok to provide a more convenient location for the teachers and staff. In turn this allowed us to expand our programs to other schools and as the word spread about what we offered. The true strength behind our operation is our hard-working Thai staff, who have a high English ability and a real understanding of how foreign cultures differ from their own, not only do they support and assist our Native English teachers but they ensure only the best possible placements.

Good reviews are really useful and we take them seriously. We ask a lot of questions to make sure, that they provide a well-rounded picture. You can post a review anonymously but we do ask for emails (won't be shown), in case we need to get in touch to clear up spelling, unclear answers etc.

Most importantly, thanks for writing one! A well written review is often the best advice another teacher can have.
